Kevin Pietersen
Kevin Peter Pietersen aged 28 is a young and aggressive Middle Order Right Hand Batsman and a Part time Right Arm off break Bowler. He is a member of England Cricket Team and has been recently promoted to lead the Team. With his attacking nature of batting he rescued his team from defeat on many occasions. He made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe at Harare on November 28, 2004 and remains not out with a match winning Innings and retained his position in the team till now by passing over 2500 runs with Strike Rate 86.62 and Average of 47.14.
He made his International Test Cricket debut against the World Champions Australia at Lord’s on July 21, 2005. With his innings of completing a Half- Century in his debut and most runs scorer on his debut in Ashes Series 2005 results in a comprehensive 2-1 victory, this made him a good impression on the English Cricket Board and continued his form till now by nearing 4000 runs in Test Cricket with an average of 50.51. With his attacking nature of play in shorter as well as longer version of the game made him the successor of Michael Vaughan to lead the side in both versions of the game as a reward for his performance.
