Shimla is one of the famous hill resorts in Northern India in the state of Himachal Prasdesh. This mountain city is located in the heart of the Himalayas with area coverage of around twenty five square kilometer. Many tourists’ spots are found surrounding the city like the Manali, Dharamsala etc. The temperature is good through out the year and it ranges from fourteen degree to twenty degree in the summer. It is located at an altitude of around two thousand five hundred meter. Pleasant stay is guaranteed in the city by the availability of many luxurious hotels and mountain resorts.

The major places to visit in the city are the Chadwick falls, Museum and the Jhakoo Temple. The Chadwick water falls is found amidst thick forest and it has many places that are to be explored in and around the forest. The State Museum has the ancient sculptors and other ancient belongings for display which attracts the foreign tourists. Paintings of the people of Himachal Pradesh are also displayed in this museum. The Jhakoo Temple is a Hindu destination which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Traveling across the city has many facilities like the tourist buses and hires taxis.
